Descriptions Product descriptions and images are provided in good faith for guidance only and we accept no liability for errors or omissions. We reserve the right to change any of the product information and/or descriptions on our site at any time without notice.
Supply All of our seeds are supplied for amateur use – we do not supply seed on a commercial basis.
Seeds All of our seeds comply with the relevant EU or superseding UK Seed Laws in force at the time of despatch. is a living product and as such we give no warranty, express or implied, as to the productiveness of seeds, and will not in any way be responsible for the resultant crop.
Seed requires a level of skill and certain conditions to germinate. The Heritage Organic Seed Company Ltd will not be liable if your seeds fail to germinate due to conditions including but not limited to your local climate, grower experience, water, soil, planting time, soil conditions and soil depth. We are of course happy to provide advice and encouragement to help you get the most out of your seeds and hope you experience the same joy of seed sowing as we do.
Pre-Orders Any seed that is sold as a pre-order will be clearly marked as such on the product page with an estimated delivery timescale. Estimated delivery timescales are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed timescales. Payment for pre-orders will be taken in full at the time of ordering and you will receive order status updates via email. In the rare event of a crop failure or other factors outside of our control a pre-ordered product may become oversold or become unavailable. Should this happen we reserve the right to replace it with a suitable variety of equal value or we will process a refund if a suitable alternative is not available.
Monthly Subscription Boxes When you sign up to our monthly subscription box you agree that you are signing up to a recurring purchase and you agree that your payment method will automatically be charged each month at the price listed until it ends or you cancel.
The monthly subscription will renew automatically on 1st of each month.
If you do not wish for your subscription to auto-renew on 1st of the month then you must cancel no later than midnight on the day before the renewal date.
Eg. If the next renewal date is October 1st and you do not wish to receive your October box you must cancel no later than midnight on September 30th.
You may cancel your subscription easily from within your online account.
We are unable to refund subscriptions that were not cancelled in time.
If you cancel your subscription and want to restart it at a later date this can be done quickly and easily from your online account subject to stock availability.

All subscription boxes will be sent out via 2nd class post.
From time to time we may have to increase the price that you pay for your subscription. In the event of a price increase we will notify you via email and we will give you a minimum of 30 days notice of any increase.
It is your responsibility to keep your details up to date in your account. If your address changes then you must update it within your account prior to the next renewal date. We cannot be held responsible for despatching your item to the wrong address if it has not been updated on time.
In the event your payment fails we will contact you to let you know. We will only be able to despatch your order once payment has been received.
Pre-paid Subscriptions Pre-paid subscriptions are subscriptions that are paid in full at the time of ordering. When you purchase a pre-paid subscription the product page will detail exactly the month this will commence.
Pre-paid subscriptions will not renew at the end of the pre-paid term.
Pre-paid subscriptions cannot be managed online. Should you wish to make a change to the delivery address please email us at subscriptions@heritageorganicseeds.com and we can arrange this for you. Please provide at least 7 days notice.
Organic Status We are Certified Organic with The Soil Association. Our licence information including Certificate and Trading Schedule can be found here.
Safety None of the seeds we supply should be considered edible even if they produce an edible plant.
All seeds should be treated as if they are medicines and kept out of reach of children and animals.
Some of the plants that our seeds produce including many popular cottage garden plants can be poisonous and it is your full and absolute responsibility to ensure the suitability and safety of the resulting plants to your planting environment.
Seed Storage To maintain the viability of your seeds we recommend they are stored in a cool, dry place.
Price We reserve the right to change any of the prices on our site at any time.
Delivery Where postage charges apply these will be clearly detailed at checkout before you send your order for processing. We aim to despatch all seed orders within 2 working days however this may take a little longer during busy periods.
All orders are sent via 2nd class post unless otherwise stated. 2nd class post usually arrives within 3 working days of despatch but it can take up to 14 working days. If your order has not arrived after that time please email us at hello@heritageorganicseeds.com and we will look into it for you.
Overseas Orders Unfortunately we are not able to supply orders to Northern Ireland, Europe or the rest of the world.
Payment Payments are processed via a third party payment gateway; WooCommerce Payments who accept major credit and debit cards. We also accept payments via PayPal.
All prices quoted are in Great British Pounds.
If you are making payment using an alternative currency the exchange rate used and any transaction charges will be determined by the card company at their rates.
Your payment information is never stored on our site even if you elect to save your card information.
Cancellation/Returns/Refunds You may cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt commencing on the day after you have received your seeds. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by either letter or email. You will need to take reasonable care of the seeds whilst they are in your possession including not opening the individual seed packets or seed boxes and you must return them to us within 14 days of cancellation. Unless your order arrived faulty, damaged or you received an incorrect item you will be responsible for the return delivery costs. You will receive a refund as soon as possible but within 14 days of us receiving the return.
If you have received a faulty, damaged or incorrect product and wish to return it for a full refund please email us a picture item within 48 hours of receiving your order and we will arrange a replacement/refund.
Please note that e-gift vouchers are non-refundable.
Availability We aim to only make seeds available for purchase that are in stock. In the event that there is a problem with the availability of any of the seeds in your order we will contact you to discuss the situation.
Complaints We hope you love our seeds but if you do feel like you need to complain about any aspect of our service or products please email us at hello@heritageorganicseeds.com
Website Security We work closely with our web host and other providers to make our site secure but we do not guarantee that our site will be free of viruses or other detrimental programs.
