Merveille Des Quatre Saisons is a French heirloom butterhead variety dating back to pre 1885
It is a hardy variety which is successful in a range of climates across multiple seasons.
It has round compact heads with green and reddish leaves that offer a great flavour.
Sow these lettuce seeds undercover in late winter/early spring. Can also be direct sown in late spring/early summer or late summer/early autumn. Sow successionally for a continuous harvest.
