Tat Soi has a long white stem and spoon shaped leaves which are tender and flavoursome. It can be used in salads, or can be boiled or steamed and is rich in minerals and antioxidants.
Direct sow tat soi seeds from spring to late summer. Early sowings will benefit from protection. The leaves can be harvested individually or the whole plant can be cut at the base.

Tat Soi is native to China.
It originates near the Yangtze River and has been cultivated since the 6th Century.
