Raphanus Sativus – 15g

Radish ‘Rambo’ is a real showstopper! The stems of these microgreens have a deep red colour and the leaves are an even deeper red. They are going to look absolutely fabulous growing on your window sill and will look even better on your plate!

The redness comes from its high anthocyanin content. Anthocyanins are powerful antioxidents that are found in red, purple and blue fruits and vegetables.

These delicious microgreens have a strong radish flavour with a peppery kick. Enjoy them as a garnish or add them to salads. They even make a tasty addition to a stir fry – you’ll want to add them towards the end of your cooking to preserve the vibrant colouring!

Sowing Instructions:

Surface sow indoors all year round. Aim for around 2 teaspoons of seeds for a half seed tray. Keep the soil moist. You can exclude light for stronger seedlings if you prefer – remove the cover when the first leaves appear and place in a bright location. Harvest when the seedlings are around 2-3 inches tall and the leaves have opened up. Sow weekly for a continuous supply.
